Reliability

Navisio AI gave an incorrect or misleading response. What's going on?

Navisio AI can occasionally generate inaccurate or misleading information, a phenomenon known as «hallucination». This is a current limitation of frontier generative AI models, Navisio AI included. As a tool built to serve insurance professionals, we believe it's important to explain transparently when and why this can happen, and how to reduce its impact.

Why it can happen

There are a few typical situations where responses may be less reliable:

Very recent information or events

The model may not have the most up-to-date data and can mishandle recent regulations, products or facts.

Fabricated quotes and references

Navisio AI may produce quotes, figures or regulatory references that look credible but aren't grounded in the documents: information that seems authentic but has no basis.

Incomplete or low-quality documents

Response quality depends on the quality and completeness of the documents you upload. Unreadable scans, partial PDFs or unclear text can lead to misinterpretation.

Ambiguous or out-of-context questions

Very generic, ambiguous or non-insurance-related requests can produce less relevant answers.

How to use Navisio AI reliably

A few simple habits let you get the most out of the tool while staying in control of your advice:

Don't treat it as your only authoritative source

Navisio AI is a tool to support your advisory work, not a substitute for the professional's judgment. Always critically evaluate any significant guidance.

Verify against the original documents

Before making a decision or passing information to a client, always check the original documents: policy conditions, information sets and regulatory sources.

Check the cited sources

When a response includes source references, open the cited document: it may contain context that the summary leaves out.

Remember your professional responsibility

As an intermediary, responsibility for the advice remains yours. Navisio AI saves you time, but the final validation is always up to you.

Help us improve

If you're a Navisio user and a response wasn't helpful, use the negative feedback button («thumbs down») right inside the chat to let us know: every report helps us improve. For problems, inaccuracies or suggestions you can also write to support@navisio.ai.
